Info Edge Appoints Radha Rajappa and Rajesh Magow as Independent Directors​

Info Edge (India) Limited has appointed Ms. Radha Rajappa and Mr. Rajesh Magow to its Board of Directors as Additional Directors designated as Non-Executive Independent Directors. The appointments are effective from June 9, 2026, and both positions carry a term of five consecutive years, subject to approval by the members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting.

The company announced that the appointment decision was made following a Board meeting held on June 8, 2026. Both appointees are confirmed to be independent and hold no relationship with any existing directors of Info Edge (India) Ltd.

Profiles of New Directors​

Ms. Radha Rajappa
Ms. Rajappa is described as an accomplished entrepreneurial business leader possessing over three decades of experience in executive leadership roles within the technology industry. Her background includes a successful stint at Mindtree, where she incubated, led, and hyper-scaled several digital and technology businesses. She has also worked with global technology giants IBM and Microsoft during their transformative years. Currently, Ms. Rajappa is actively engaged with early-stage tech startups and serves as Executive Chairperson of Flutura, an Industrial AI startup acquired by Accenture. Her directorship portfolio includes Vunet Systems, a deep-tech startup focused on Business Journey Observability, Zensar Technologies Limited, Bata India Limited, and KFin Technologies Limited. Ms. Rajappa holds a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore.

Mr. Rajesh Magow
Mr. Magow is the Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of MakeMyTrip, India's leading online travel company. With over three decades of professional experience spanning finance, operations, strategy, and business leadership, Mr. Magow has been integral to MakeMyTrip since its early days. His contributions include navigating the company’s NASDAQ listing in 2010, the merger with Ibibo Group, and the expansion of brands such as Goibibo and redBus. Before joining MakeMyTrip, he served as CFO and Head of Financial Services at Ebookers and held regional leadership roles at Aptech Limited. Mr. Magow also holds industry positions including Chairman of the FICCI Tourism Committee, and is a Founder and Trustee of Plaksha University. His professional accolades include being recognized as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Services (2024), Times Now India's Impactful CEO (2024), and ET Retail eDNA E-commerce Leader of the Year (2023). He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Commenting on the appointments, Mr. Kapil Kapoor, Chairman, stated that he was "delighted to welcome Radha and Rajesh to the Board of Info Edge."
