Representatives hailing from Brazil, South Africa, Ethiopia, and other participating nations were hosted in Indore. The delegates experienced the city's vibrant urban environment and rich cultural heritage. They visited the iconic 56 Dukan food hub, gaining a firsthand perspective on India's culinary traditions and culture of hospitality.The visit serves not only as a pleasant prelude but also highlights the commitment to strengthening practical cooperation among BRICS nations. India is committed to sustained cooperative dialogue among BRICS nations during its chairmanship, which spans from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Four sessions of the Agriculture Working Group (AWG) have successfully been conducted under India's Chairship thus far.These prior deliberations have advanced discussions significantly across food security, sustainable agriculture, and innovation development. Furthermore, technical dialogues facilitated by India’s chairship have covered topics such as fisheries and aquaculture, reducing food loss and waste, and the adoption of advanced livestock technologies.
