Precision engineering components maker, Indo MIM Ltd., has officially fixed the price band for its Initial Public Offering (IPO). The offering is scheduled to open for public subscription on July 23, with a set price range reflecting the company's advanced technological standing in the global market.

The IPO is priced at Rs 461-Rs 485 per share. At the upper limit of this band, Indo MIM commands a valuation of nearly Rs 24,000 crore. The issue concludes on July 27, though the bidding process for anchor investors begins one day earlier, on July 22.

##IPO Offering Details and Financial Breakdown

The public issue features two main components: a fresh equity issuance up to Rs 500 crore, and an Offer For Sale (OFS) comprising approximately 6.83 crore equity shares held by existing shareholders. These sellers include Green Meadows Investments Ltd., Anuradha Koduri, and the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.

At its higher end, the IPO size is estimated at around Rs 3,812 crore, while the lower estimate stands at roughly Rs 3,648 crore. The company intends to utilize a portion of the fresh issue proceeds, specifically Rs 400 crore, toward prepayment or repayment of certain outstanding borrowings.

The remaining funds from the new equity shares will be deployed for general corporate purposes, aiding in future growth initiatives and operational strengthening.

##A Global Leader in Precision Manufacturing

Incorporated in 1996, Indo MIM is a leader in manufacturing precision engineering components through Metal Injection Molding (MIM) technology. The company provides extensive end-to-end manufacturing solutions across various high-demand sectors.

Frost & Sullivan reports establish the company as the world's largest manufacturer of precision engineering components utilizing MIM technology. This dominant position has been sustained over the past six years, maintaining a 6.8 per cent global market share by revenue projected for calendar year 2025.

Indo MIM’s capabilities extend beyond MIM to include investment casting, precision machining, ceramic injection molding, and metal 3D printing. It serves crucial sectors including automotive, defence, medical, consumer goods, and aerospace industries.

##Company Operations and Market Positioning

The company's operational footprint is extensive, operating 15 manufacturing facilities globally. These sites are distributed across six locations in India, six in the US, two in the UK, and one facility in Mexico.

In the Financial Year (FY)26, Indo MIM manufactured over 9,000 product types tailored to its diverse business segments. For FY26, the company reported a revenue from operations of Rs 4,193 crore and generated a profit after tax amounting to Rs 533 crore.

Regarding market comparison, as per the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP), Indo MIM has no listed peers within India. Its sole global listed peer is Jiangsu Gian Technology Co. Ltd., which trades on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in China.

##Investment Allocation and Listing Timeline

The IPO distribution structure allocates half of the net offer to Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs). Fifteen per cent is reserved for non-institutional investors, with the remaining 35 per cent being dedicated to retail investors. Investors must bid for a minimum of 30 equity shares and subsequent multiples thereof.

Book-running lead managers for this issue include HDFC Bank, Axis Capital, ICICI Securities, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, and SBI Capital Markets. The company's equity shares are scheduled to be listed on the BSE and NSE market platforms on July 30.
