Operational Transition Details
Managing Director and CEO of India Shelter Finance Corporation, Mr. Rupinder Singh, noted that FY27 started strongly with the significant Gross AUM expansion. He explained that during the quarter, the company consciously transitioned its operational practice to recognize disbursements upon cheque realization rather than upon cheque handover.
The management stated that this accounting transition is aligned with stronger operational controls and represented a one-time change, temporarily impacting the reported Q1FY27 disbursements figure. Reported disbursements for the quarter totaled Rs. 641 Crs, while the Disbursement at clearance stood at Rs. 1,046 Crs.
