ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) shares are set to be in the spotlight following the release of solid Q4 results. The financial results confirm a strong period of growth, driven primarily by improved operating efficiency and consistent revenue streams. The AMC announced a notable dividend of ₹12.4 per share, further boosting investor sentiment heading into the trade.

The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) for the March quarter standing at ₹763 crore. This represents a healthy 10% year-on-year jump compared to ₹692 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. Profit before tax (PBT) also showed resilience, rising to ₹1,039 crore from ₹917 crore.

ICICI Pru AMC Posts Q4 Profit Jumps, Announces Dividend

While the Q4 results are positive, the company noted a dip on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Net profit decreased by 17% from ₹917 crore in Q3 FY26. Management attributed this minor decline primarily to lower total income, though operational costs were effectively kept under control.

Looking at the full fiscal year (FY26), the growth story remains robust. Profit after tax for FY26 increased by 24.4% to ₹3,298 crore from ₹2,651 crore in FY25. Operating profitability mirrored this strong trajectory, with operating profit growing 28.9% to ₹4,171 crore.

Strong Operating Leverage Fuels Margin Expansion

The core strength of the results lies in the operational metrics. Revenue from operations demonstrated powerful year-on-year growth, climbing 19% to ₹1,517 crore from ₹1,269 crore.

This revenue growth was supported by remarkable cost control measures. Total expenses eased significantly to ₹389 crore, down from ₹403 crore in the year-ago period. This reduction in spending greatly aided the expansion of profit margins during the quarter.

Operating profit soared to ₹1,128 crore, marking a substantial 30% increase from the ₹866 crore reported in Q4 FY25. The improved operating performance validates the efficiency and leverage built into the AMC’s core business model.

Business Metrics Show Steady Growth in AUM and Investor Base

Beyond quarterly profits, the company’s underlying business scale continues to expand, painting a picture of deep market penetration. As of March 2026, the quarterly average assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹11,04,787 crore. This represents a considerable increase from the ₹8,79,412 crore reported a year earlier.

ICICI Prudential AMC also highlighted its expansive reach and customer trust. The company currently services a base of 17 million investors. Furthermore, its extensive distribution network comprises over 1.14 lakh partners across 281 offices in the domestic mutual fund market.
