The surge follows the release of Q1 results, where the company reported massive profitability growth. Honasa’s profit jumped 118.4% year-over-year (YoY), hitting ₹90.2 crore from ₹41.3 crore. Welspun Living shares jumped impressively by 9% after reporting dramatic profit growth in its first quarter. The company’s Q1 profit surged 83.6%, moving from ₹87.6 crore to a robust ₹160.7 crore. Revenue saw a healthy increase of 23.7%, climbing from ₹2,260.6 crore to ₹2,795.5 crore.KRBL stock advanced by 5% on its Q1 results. The company recorded a 73% jump in profit, raising it to ₹260.7 crore from the previous quarter's ₹150.6 crore. Although profits rose significantly, KRBL’s revenue faced minor contraction, declining 5.6% YoY to ₹1,495.9 crore from ₹1,584.4 crore.
Fino Payments Bank Slides on Weak Revenue Declines
In contrast to the strong performance seen by consumer and manufacturing companies, Fino Payments Bank share price slipped 6%. The decline was attributed to disappointing earnings results in Q1 FY’27. The company reported a substantial drop in revenue, which declined 32% YoY, settling at ₹306.9 crore.Broader Market Trends: Sectoral Dips Offset Stock Gains
The broader market proved resilient, managing to outperform the benchmark indices despite continued sector-specific weakness. Both Nifty Midcap and Smallcap indices traded with marginal losses during the session.Except for the consumer durable segment, all other sectoral indices registered dips in today's trading. Auto, metal, and IT sectors were noted to be down by 0.5% to 1%.

The overall market breadth on the BSE remained mixed, indicating a largely balanced trend across the traded stocks. A total of 1,680 shares were reported as advancing, while 1,610 shares declined.
