This expansion is projected to create around 1,200 jobs over the next three to five years across Manchester, Leeds, and Birmingham.The strategic investment includes the establishment of new R&D centers in Manchester and Leeds, alongside an expanded delivery center in Birmingham. This move was part of a broader international commitment set out by the UK Government during the G7 Summit on June 16, 2026, focusing on AI capabilities and clean energy initiatives.
The investment aims to accelerate innovation across emerging technologies, specifically AI, digital services, and quantum computing. The company is focused on developing local talent, advancing research, and driving modernization in citizen and public services through these efforts.
R. Srikrishna, CEO & Executive Director of Hexaware, stated that the company has a long history working with UK businesses and holds high ambitions for growth within the country. He emphasized that the investments are centered on nurturing young talent and collaborating closely with government bodies at all levels to generate positive social impact for UK citizens in AI research and digital innovation for citizen services.
Parameshwaran (Param) Iyer, Executive Vice President Head of UK and Europe at Hexaware, highlighted the accelerating pace of the UK market. He noted that the investment reflects strong confidence from both clients and the UK Government, adding that having local research and delivery talent allows Hexaware to partner with clients on AI initiatives rather than just providing services for them.
The United Kingdom represents Hexaware's second largest global market and is cited as its fastest growing geography. The company established its UK headquarters in Canary Wharf, London, in 2025.
