
Hexaware Opens New Delivery Center in GIFT City, Targeting 1,000 Jobs Over Three Years
Hexaware Technologies Limited, a global provider of IT solutions and services, has expanded its operational presence in Gujarat by opening a new delivery center at the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City). The facility was inaugurated by Shri Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat.The GIFT City center is designed to serve Hexaware’s clients in the global banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sectors. The services offered through this new hub span digital solutions, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud transformation, data engineering, and nextgen software services.
This investment complements Hexaware's existing presence in Ahmedabad and Gujarat, solidifying its commitment to building a technology and innovation hub that caters to international financial institutions. The company plans to create approximately 1,000 high-skilled jobs within the next three years, covering areas such as software engineering, digital transformation, AI, cloud, data analytics, business operations, and customer experience services.
Speaking on the establishment of the center, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel stated that Hexaware’s move is a strong endorsement of Gujarat's position as a globally competitive destination for financial services and technology.
R. Srikrishna, CEO & Executive Director at Hexaware, noted that GIFT City represents a unique intersection of financial services, technology, and innovation. He commented that the expansion aligns with the company's strategy to get closer to its customers while utilizing India’s exceptional talent ecosystem.
Vikash Kumar Jain, Chief Financial Officer at Hexaware, emphasized that GIFT City presents a compelling proposition for a company of Hexaware's scale and focus. He added that the financial services landscape, along with the quality of talent and the state government’s policy framework, made the decision clear.
The addition of the GIFT City center enhances Hexaware's growing delivery footprint in India, strengthening its capability to support BFSI clients across global markets.
