
HCLTech Partners with TIM Brasil to Deliver South America's First Cross-Platform eSIM Transfer Capability
HCLTech, a global technology leader, has partnered with TIM Brasil, the leading 5G provider in Brazil, to enable the first cross-platform eSIM transfer capability in South America. This digital innovation is set to significantly improve the mobile telephony experience for millions of users across Brazil by offering greater flexibility in device usage and accelerating the adoption of next-generation mobile services throughout the region.The partnership leverages HCLTech's Device Entitlement Gateway (DEG). With this technology, TIM Brasil customers can securely and seamlessly transfer their eSIM profiles across various devices and operating systems. This functionality allows users to switch between different smartphone brands or upgrade their devices without needing physical SIM cards, store visits, or complex migration processes.
The collaboration transforms device upgrades and SIM transfers into a straightforward process involving only a few taps on the screen, while maintaining high standards of security and reliability for the user base.
