HCLTech, Circles, and GreySkies Collaborate on TM Forum Catalyst Program to Drive AI-Led Network Automation
HCLTech, Circles, and Greyskies have announced their participation in the TM Forum Catalyst Program, a collaborative innovation initiative focused on the telecommunications industry. This partnership aims to co-create next-generation solutions for Communication Service Providers (CSPs) by addressing the need for accelerated AI-led autonomous network operations. As part of this program, the three companies are working alongside leading telecom operators including Circles.Life, KDDI, Orange, and TELUS. Their joint effort is centered on developing a new AI-powered multiagent framework designed to integrate customer experience, business processes, and network operations into an intelligent, real-time operational ecosystem.
The developed solution is engineered to accelerate end-to-end automation, enhance service assurance, and improve customer engagement. Furthermore, it seeks to unlock monetization opportunities by leveraging AI-driven insights within the telecommunications sector.
Fusing Technologies for Autonomous Networks
The initiative strategically combines several core capabilities: Circles' AI native digital telco platform and its customer engagement functions; GreySkies' AI enabled network operations; and HCLTech's focus on AI led automation. These elements are integrated through TM Forum Open APIs within an Open Digital Architecture (ODA) framework. This architectural approach enables service providers to analyze both customer and network signals in real time, anticipate potential issues, and drive autonomous decision-making across the entire enterprise. By integrating advanced AI capabilities with open, standards based architectures, the solution supports the transition toward self optimizing networks that are responsive to operational complexities and changing customer demands. The expected outcomes include improved operational efficiency, accelerated insight to action, and enhanced customer lifetime value.
Dr. Ibrahim Ghaleb, Chief Operating Officer at GreySkies, stated that "Autonomous operations start with truly understanding the network. By bringing AI driven observability and assurance into this Catalyst, we are helping operators anticipate and resolve issues before customers ever feel them."
Sanjay Kaul, Chief Revenue Officer at Circles, commented on the industry shift, noting, "Through this collaboration, we are bringing together complementary capabilities to help operators connect customer insights with network and business operations in real time, creating new opportunities for growth and differentiation."
Anil Ganjoo, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Telecom, Media and Technology at HCLTech, emphasized the significance of the inclusion. He stated that this involvement accelerates the industry's transition to AI driven, autonomous operations by enabling service providers to deliver "more intelligent, agile and differentiated customer experiences at scale."
