Beyond the sale, Great Eastern Shipping also announced plans to expand its fleet through acquisitions. The company has contracted to purchase one secondhand Kamsarmax Dry Bulk Carrier and one secondhand Medium Range Tanker. These acquisition transactions are expected to be finalized in Q1 FY27.
