The Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (GE Shipping) delivered its 2003 built Medium Range Tanker 'Jag Pankhi' to the buyers on May 14, 2026. The vessel had been contracted for sale in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027 (Q1 FY27).Following the delivery, the company’s current owned fleet stands at 39 vessels. This fleet consists of 24 Tankers and 15 Dry Bulk Carriers, aggregating a total deadweight tonnage of 3.19 million dwt.
The current tanker fleet is detailed as follows:
- Crude Tankers: 5
- Product Tankers: 15
- LPG Carriers: 4
The dry bulk carrier component includes:
- Capesize: 2
- Kamsarmax: 10
- Ultramax: 1
- Supramax: 2
Looking ahead, the company has also contracted to purchase one secondhand Medium Range Tanker. This expected transaction is scheduled to be completed in Q1 FY27.
