
Grasim Industries Limited Commences Commercial Production at CPVC Resin Plant in Gujarat
Grasim Industries Limited has announced that its Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin manufacturing plant, located in Vilayat, Gujarat, has commenced commercial production. The facility was established in collaboration with Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Private Limited.The new plant marks a significant milestone in the company's strategic development of its downstream portfolio and domestic manufacturing capabilities. This expansion is directly aligned with the "Make in India" initiative.
The CPVC resin plant is planned to operate at an annual capacity of approximately 50,000 metric tonnes. The commencement of commercial production strengthens Grasim’s position in chlor-alkali derivatives within the industry.
