The consolidated EBITDA margin improved by 30 basis points (bps), reaching 8.8%, while the PBT margin increased by 190 bps to 6.6%. Net profit (PAT) for the standalone segment stood at ₹ 265 crores.

As of June 30, 2026, the company maintained a substantial order book of ₹ 66,607 crores, marking an all-time high. Order inflows till date in FY27 stood at ₹ 7,668 crores, with favourably placed L1 orders amounting to approximately ₹ 7,300 crores, primarily driven by the T&D and B&F businesses.

The company also reported receiving new orders worth ₹ 876 crores during Q2 FY27, which included marquee order wins in the T&D and Oil & Gas business segments in India.

Financial Rating and ESG Progress​

India Ratings & Research (Ind-Ra) upgraded KPIL's credit rating to IND AA+/Stable, commending the company’s strong financial profile and prudent capital structure. Furthermore, KPIL's CRISIL ESG Rating improved to Strong from Adequate, with a CRISIL Core ESG Rating of 65, reflecting progress in sustainable practices.

Manish Mohnot, MD & CEO of KPIL, commented on the results, stating that Q1 FY27 provided a strong beginning for the financial year, underpinned by disciplined execution and robust order momentum. He noted that securing marquee projects across HVDC T&D, GIS substation, international water business, and design-build B&F projects was instrumental in advancing the company's competitive edge and paving the way for future growth.
