The addition of this domestic facility aligns with the company's long-term growth strategy as it looks to deepen its penetration into the business-to-consumer (B2C) retail sector.

Kantikumar Dadha, Chairman & Whole-time Director of Golkunda Diamonds & Jewellery Ltd., commented on the development, stating that "Our new Mumbai facility allows us to bring the full breadth of our craftsmanship—across diamond, gold, gemstone, jadau and labgrown jewellery—to organized retailers here at home."

He added that while the standards set by leading retail chains across Europe and the Middle East guided the company's business for over forty years, "The Indian consumer today expects that same quality and consistency. We also see a clear opportunity to move closer to the end consumer over time, and we intend to pursue the right partnerships and alliances to get there."
