GAIL Approves Merger of Konkan LNG Limited to Build Vertically Integrated Entity​

GAIL (India) Limited, a Government of India undertaking and Maharatna Company, approved the scheme of merger involving Konkan LNG Limited (KLL) on July 31, 2026. The decision aims to streamline group operations and enhance efficiency by integrating the entities into a larger, stronger structure.

The Board of Directors approved the merger, which involves GAIL and KLL. This transaction consolidates the activities of both companies into a single entity.
