Fuel Rates Hold Steady in Major Cities as Global Crude Drops Below $80 Mark

Indian consumers continue to pay unchanged petrol and diesel prices across major metropolitan areas on July 10, despite a notable softening of international crude oil prices. This stability comes as global markets navigate continued geopolitical tensions, while Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) maintain retail fuel rates.

Global crude benchmarks have seen shifts in the past week. Brent crude hovered near $76 a barrel, while US benchmark WTI traded below $72 following volatile trading amid ongoing Middle East disputes.

Despite these underlying shifts and lingering disruptions to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, OMCs have not announced any reduction in domestic fuel pricing today. The national market remains cautious as diplomatic talks continue between the US and Iran.
