Filatex India Acquires Equity Shares in Ecosis Limited for Polyester Textiles Recycling Project​

Filatex India Limited announced on May 12, 2026, that it has acquired an additional stake in Ecosis Limited, its wholly owned subsidiary. The investment is targeted to bolster the subsidiary’s ongoing Polyester Textiles Recycling Project and meet working capital needs.

The acquisition involved Filatex India Limited purchasing 1,00,00,000 Equity Shares of Ecosis Limited. These shares have a face value of Rs. 1 each, and Filatex acquired them at a price of Rs. 10 per share, amounting to an aggregate value of Rs. 10.00 crore.

To date, Filatex has committed a substantial investment into Ecosis Limited, having invested around Rs. 65 crores in the subsidiary.

Filatex stated that the capital infusion is designed to support multiple operational goals for the subsidiary. Specifically, the funds will be utilized to finance the Polyester Textiles Recycling Project, facilitate the repayment of existing loans taken from Filatex, and meet general working capital requirements.

The transaction is classified as a related party transaction, occurring between the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary. Filatex confirmed that the acquisition was conducted on an arm's length basis, noting that none of the Company's promoter or promoter group companies have any interest in the above transaction.

FILATEX Stock Price Movement​

Shares of Filatex India Limited today slipped by 3.69% to settle at ₹42.37. The stock saw trading volume of 454,352 shares, adding bearish weight to the session as it closed lower.
