Endurance Technologies Limited has announced the commencement of commercial production for its Lithium Ion Battery packs at the manufacturing facility located in Mindewadi, District Pune, Maharashtra. The plant began operations effective June 17, 2026.The greenfield manufacturing facility was established to produce Lithium Ion Battery packs suitable for mobility applications and battery energy storage systems. This strategic initiative forms a key addition to the company’s portfolio, complementing products currently offered by its subsidiary, Maxwell Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., which specializes in robust battery management systems.
The initial installed capacity of the Mindewadi plant is set at approximately 26,000 Lithium Ion Battery packs per month. The facility design allows for future scaling, with potential to expand production up to around 35,000 packs per month. This expansion will be executed when further orders are secured from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) customers.
The setup of the plant involved a capital expenditure (capex) outlay estimated at approximately Rs. 473 million, which was financed through internal accruals.
