Dividend Alert: 40 Stocks Hit Ex-Record Date; Investors Must Act Now to Secure Payments

As nearly 40 stocks are set to turn ex-record date for their dividends this Friday, today marks a critical deadline for investors. Due to SEBI's T+1 settlement cycle, shareholders must purchase the company’s shares at least one trading day prior to the record date. This means that today is the final opportunity to buy these shares and ensure they are credited to investor accounts in time for the dividend payout.

Key Dividend Payouts: HAL, HPCL, and IOC Lead the Charge

Among the stocks reaching ex-record date are major players like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Hindusthan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL), and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). These companies have declared significant dividends, making this a prime day for dividend income investors.

HAL is set to receive a final dividend of Rs 10 per share for FY26. The defence PSU recently reported strong results for Q1 FY27, showing a 15% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit, which stood at nearly Rs 1,590 crore. HAL has maintained a history of rewarding shareholders, having declared 16 dividends since March 2019, with the stock currently boasting a dividend yield of 1.01%.

HPCL is set to offer its shareholders a final dividend of Rs 19.25 per share. This figure accounts for the highest dividend payout among all stocks reaching the ex-record date on Friday. Similarly, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has fixed the same day for a final dividend payment of Rs 1.25 per share to its investors.

Financial Sector Gains: Banks and Specialty Companies Pay Out Dividends

The banking and specialized manufacturing sectors have several payouts scheduled. REC is set to pay a final dividend of Rs 1.55 per share, making today the last chance for eligible purchase. RBL Bank will also reward shareholders with a dividend of Rs 1 per share.

Other companies due for dividends include Anup Engineering (Rs 12), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise (Rs 10), and Kalyani Investment Company (Rs 10). Kotyark Industries and The Sandesh are both set to pay a final dividend of Rs 5 per share, providing consistent payouts in their respective sectors.

Comprehensive List of Dividend-Eligible Stocks

The list extends far beyond the major corporations, encompassing a wide range of industries. Dynamatic Technologies will offer shareholders Rs 3 per share, while Astral and Ganesh Consumer Products are scheduled to pay Rs 2.50 per share. NCC is set to pay Rs 2.20 per share.

A variety of companies offering Rs 2 dividends include Rashi Peripherals, Sanghvi Movers, Premco Global, Sarda Energy & Minerals, Suryalata Spinning Mills, Xchanging Solutions, and Vibrant Global Capital. Stocks Offering Minor but Significant Dividends

Several companies are offering smaller payouts that still constitute meaningful dividend income for their investors. Alkali Metals, Rain Industries, Crest Ventures, and Godawari Power and Ispat will each pay a dividend of Rs 1 per share.

The remainder of the list includes companies paying less than one rupee, ensuring maximum shareholder opportunity. These include Electrosteel Castings (Rs 0.9 per share), Minda Corporation (Rs 0.80 per share), NBI Industrial Finance Co.
