Dividend Rush Alert: 25 Companies Turn Ex-Date; Last Chance to Bag Payouts Worth Nearly ₹430

As many as 25 companies are set to turn ex-record date for dividends this Wednesday (August 5), investors have one final trading day opportunity. This deadline is crucial for those seeking to be eligible for the corporate actions, with accumulated dividend payouts potentially worth nearly Rs 430 across these companies.

Due to SEBI's T+1 settlement cycle, investors must acquire the company's shares at least one trading day prior to the record date. Therefore, today represents the final chance to buy the shares and ensure they are credited to a demat account before the requisite deadline on Friday.

Key Dividend Payouts Highlighted Today

A number of blue-chip companies are offering attractive dividends that highlight strong operational performance or financial stability. Hyundai Motor India is set to pay Rs 21 per share for FY26, making today the final day to acquire the stock.

Vedanta Aluminium has also announced a significant interim dividend of Rs 8 per share on its Re 1 face value for FY27. The company confirmed August 5 as the record date to determine shareholder eligibility. This dividend follows a period of robust growth reported by the newly-listed firm.

Financial Strength Drives Vedanta’s Dividend Announcement

Vedanta Aluminium's decision to pay a dividend comes amidst exceptional financial performance across the first quarter of FY27. The company saw its consolidated net profit jump more than threefold year-on-year, reaching Rs 5,629 crore. Furthermore, revenue from operations grew by 46% year-on-year (YoY) to stand at Rs 21,393 crore.

Hyundai Motor India's dividend announcement was made in May during its Q1 earnings report. Despite a 23% YoY decline in standalone net profit for the March-ended quarter (from Rs 1,582 crore a year ago to Rs 1,221 crore), the company proceeded with the declared payout of Rs 21 per share.
