
Divgi TTS Secures Strategic Order for All-Wheel Drive System from Leading Indian OEM Customer
Divgi TorqTransfer Systems Limited, a prominent supplier in automotive drivetrain systems and components, has announced that it has secured a strategic order from an existing leading Indian Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contract involves supplying specialized components critical to the development of the OEM's upcoming All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants.Under the terms of the program, Divgi TTS will be responsible for delivering fully integrated drivetrain solutions, including Interactive Torque Management (ITM) Assemblies, Electronic Control Units (ECU), and Power Transfer Unit (PTU) Assemblies. These components are intended for the OEM's mid-sized and full-sized SUV vehicle models that feature AWD capabilities.
The agreement outlines an annual supply of approximately 6,000 units of ITM Assemblies, ECUs, and PTU Assemblies over a five-year period. The Start of Production for this program is anticipated beginning in Q1 FY28.
This business award holds significant technical importance as it marks the OEM's first Front Wheel Drive (FWD) based All-Wheel Drive variant development for its internal combustion powertrain models. This achievement underscores the confidence the OEM places in Divgi TTS’ engineering capabilities and proprietary technology leadership, specifically leveraging the company’s NexTrac platform. This platform incorporates advanced software controlled torque management systems, electromagnetic actuation technologies, and precision clutch modulation to ensure seamless torque distribution.
The AWD variants are designed to help the OEM showcase its SUVs' performance across diverse terrain conditions, thereby expanding the potential customer base.
