Desi Farms India Limited has significantly expanded its operational scope by acquiring a stake in SNA Milk and Milk Products Limited, marking a strategic move into the dairy and milk products sector. The acquisition aims to diversify Desi Farms' business operations and leverage synergies within the stable consumption-driven industry.

As of July 4, 2026, Desi Farms has acquired 12.39% stake in SNA Milk and Milk Products Limited (SNA). This initial investment is part of a larger process to take over 100% of SNA Milk and Milk Products Limited within the prescribed timeframe.

The acquisition was executed through a Share Swap arrangement, which constitutes consideration other than cash. In exchange for equity shares and Compulsorably Convertible Preference Shares of SNA, Desi Farms issued 28,06,200 3% Compulsorably Convertible Non-Cumulative Preference shares. This transaction secured the initial 12.73% stake in SNA.

The total cost incurred for this acquisition is reported to be approximately Rs. 37.88 Crores. The acquired stake comprises 14,031 equity shares and Compulsorably Convertible Preference Shares representing 12.73% of the issued and paid-up capital of SNA Milk and Milk Products Limited (on a fully-diluted basis).
