Delta Autocorp Limited Opens New Company-Owned Showroom in Deoghar, Jharkhand

Delta Autocorp Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary Electrofine Motors Pvt Ltd, has announced the opening of a new Company-Owned Company-Operated (COCO) showroom in Deoghar, Jharkhand. This expansion is positioned to strengthen the company’s strategic retail and brand presence across Eastern India.

The new showroom, spanning approximately 2300 square feet, is tentatively scheduled to commence operations on June 15, 2026. This facility marks a key milestone in Deltic's calibrated on-ground expansion strategy. The company’s existing COCO showrooms in Dhanbad and Mihijam have been noted for demonstrating considerable operational, servicing, and retail metric improvements over the past year, supporting the strengthening of surrounding sub-dealer ecosystems.

Strategic Focus on High-Mobility Markets

The expansion into Deoghar is driven by the city's unique combination of religious significance, strong commercial movement, and growing mobility demand. Deoghar is considered one of the region’s most active movement corridors, attracting substantial footfall from Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and parts of Odisha throughout the year.

The region's high dependence on practical transportation solutions, particularly in the passenger three-wheeler and two-wheeler segments, creates a strong operating environment for electric mobility adoption. Deltic notes that this timing aligns favorably with the continuing increase in conventional fuel prices, accelerating the shift toward economical mobility alternatives in high-usage markets.

Through the COCO format, Delta Autocorp aims to provide a single integrated ecosystem that delivers strong retail visibility, product accessibility, financing support, after-sales capability, and customer engagement. This format allows for tighter control over servicing standards and retail presentation, crucial factors for building trust and consistency in emerging EV markets.

Operational Advantage

The Deoghar location also benefits from its strategic proximity to the company's manufacturing ecosystem in Rupnarayanpur, West Bengal. This proximity, which is approximately 105 kilometers, helps strengthen inventory movement, regional responsiveness, and after-sales support capability.

Deltic's overall retail strategy integrates digital outreach with localized physical presence, understanding that visibility, touch-and-feel interaction, and servicing confidence remain decisive factors in EV adoption. By focusing on influential mobility clusters, the company aims to build a compounding long-term retail and value-chain ecosystem, supporting its goal of disciplined expansion and deeper regional integration across Bharat.

DELTIC Stock Price Movement

As of 2:48 PM, Delta Autocorp Limited shares are slipping by 3.43% in live trading, currently trading at ₹39.40. The stock has seen 3,000 shares traded during the day's session, contributing to the downward pressure on the equity.
