CleanMax to Power Major Shell Facilities with 30 GW Clean Energy Pipeline, Bolstering Industrial Supply

CleanMax Enviro Energy Ltd (CleanMax) is set to play a pivotal role in the clean energy transition, confirming it will supply substantial renewable power to Shell's critical facilities in Gujarat and Karnataka. The supply will be sourced from CleanMax's ambitious upcoming hybrid renewable energy projects, which represent a significant clean power commitment.

The strategic partnerships underscore the growing demand for sustainable energy in India's core industrial sectors. CleanMax's deployments are focused on enhancing supply stability and improving operational resilience for major global energy players.

Boosting Energy Security in Gujarat's LNG Terminal

In Gujarat, CleanMax is developing a specialized hybrid renewable energy plant designed for Shell's LNG terminal at Hazira. This facility will provide clean power through the group-captive model.

The Gujarat project features a capacity of 16.83 MW, combining 6.93 MWp of solar capacity with 9.90 MW of wind power. This hybrid configuration is specifically designed to support the energy-intensive operations of the LNG terminal. This move directly contributes to the decarbonization goals of major international energy hubs.

Clean Power Supply for Karnataka's Technology Hub

The clean energy commitment extends to Karnataka, where CleanMax is set to power the Shell Technology Centre in Bengaluru.

This Karnataka plant is another hybrid renewable energy development with a capacity of 13.2 MW. The configuration utilizes 9.9 MWp of solar capacity in Jagalur, paired with 3.3 MW of wind capacity in Honawad. The dual focus on solar and wind ensures reliable and continuous power delivery to the technology centre.

Expanding Footprint in the Commercial & Industrial Sector

CleanMax specializes in providing renewable energy solutions tailored for the Commercial and Industrial sector. The company has demonstrated significant operational capacity across multiple geographies.

As of March 2026, CleanMax boasts a total operational and contracted renewable capacity of 5.7 GW. This extensive footprint covers markets across India, the Middle East, and South-East Asia, positioning it as a major supplier of clean power.
