Operational Highlights and Capital Allocation​

BEPL successfully funded a significant capital expenditure amounting to ₹200 crores through internal accruals, maintaining a debt-free status. This funding supports the ongoing capacity expansion project at the Abu Road plant.

The existing operation at Abu Road currently stands at 75,000 MTPA (Metric Tons Per Annum). The targeted expansion aims to bring the total capacity up to 100,000 MTPA by September 2026. This debottlenecking project is funded entirely through internal accruals.

Management commentary highlighted that this expansion strengthens BEPL's position as a low-cost ABS producer, enabling the company to capture a share of the market demand currently met by imports. The total Capex outlay for this capacity addition is ₹200 Crores and is scheduled for FY28.
