Ashoka Buildcon Limited has announced an extension of the indicative timelines regarding the sale and disposal of stakes held by the company and its subsidiary, Ashoka Concessions Limited (ACL), in several specialized subsidiaries. The extension was agreed upon with the Proposed Investor, facilitating the completion of certain conditions precedent outlined in their respective transaction documents.

The transaction involves the sale of entire share capital, including the repayment of any shareholder loans, and management control over the Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) held by Ashoka Buildcon Limited and ACL. These SPVs include Ashoka Kharar Ludhiana Road Limited, Ashoka Khairatunda Barwa Adda Road Limited, Ashoka Ranastalam Anandapuram Road Limited, Ashoka Ankleshwar Manubar Expressway Private Limited, Ashoka Kandi Ramsanpalle Road Private Limited, Ashoka Mallasandra Karadi Road Private Limited (TS-1), Ashoka Karadi Banwara Road Private Limited (TS-2), Ashoka Banwara Bettadahalli Road Private Limited (TS-3), Ashoka Baswantpur Singnodi Road Private Limited (BS), Ashoka Belgaum Khanapur Road Private Limited (BK), and Ashoka Bettadahalli Shivamogga Road Private Limited (TS-4).

The Proposed Investor in this transaction is Epic Concesiones 2 Private Limited, Infrastructure Yield Plus II and Infrastructure Yield Plus IIA. These entities are schemes of the Infrastructure Yield Trust and are managed by EAAA India Alternatives Limited.

Following the mutual agreement to extend the indicative timelines for the sale of the remaining six SPVs, specific completion dates have been set for certain groups of companies. The extension allows sufficient time for the fulfillment of requisite conditions precedent.

ASHOKA Stock Price Movement​

Ashoka Buildcon Limited shares slipped by 1.85% on Friday, settling at ₹121.09 after trading down ₹2.28 from the previous close. The stock saw significant movement during the session, with a reported traded volume of 689,411 shares.
