Bengaluru, May 25, 2026: Arvind Fashions Limited (AFL), a leading casual and denim wear company in India, announced the appointment of Ms. Lakshmi Krishnan as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Lakshmi Krishnan brings extensive global experience of over 25 years in human resources to the role. Her career has provided a strong track record of leading organizational transformation, building high-performing teams, and driving strategic business outcomes across multiple geographies. Her leadership roles have spanned India, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom, covering the consumer goods, financial services, and technology sectors.

Most recently, she served as Head of HR for Corporate Functions at Unilever’s global headquarters in London. In that capacity, she partnered with the Global CFO and Chief Legal Officer to drive organization-wide transformation for a workforce of over 5,000 employees. Prior to her role at Unilever’s global headquarters, she was Head of HR for Unilever’s Global Procurement business in Singapore, an operation valued at €31 billion, where she led best-in-class inclusion programs and significantly enhanced overall organizational effectiveness and performance.
