Adani Green Energy Operationalizes Projects, Boosts Capacity with 1,990 MWh BESS and 50 MW Solar
Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the commercial operationalization of significant renewable energy projects at Khavda, Gujarat. The move expands the company's operational capacity, achieving a total operational renewable generation capacity of 19,785.8 MW and augmenting its operational Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) capacity.Through its various stepdown subsidiaries, AGEL has brought two major sets of projects into commercial operation: an aggregate 1,990 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and a 50 MW solar energy project, both located in Khavda, Gujarat.
The commissioning of these new assets enhances the company's overall infrastructure metrics. With the operationalization, AGEL now stands at a total operational BESS capacity of 3,366 MWh.
