Amara Raja Energy Revokes Closure Orders for Andhra Pradesh Manufacturing Facilities​

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd has announced the revocation of previous closure orders issued by the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) concerning its manufacturing facilities located in Andhra Pradesh.

The APPCB confirmed the revocation of the closure orders, which were initially related to the company's plants situated at Karakambadi in Tirupati District and Nunegundlapalle Village in Chittoor District. The revocation was formalized vide Order No.634/APPCB/HO/ECS/TPT-2021 and Order No.635/APPCB/HO/ECS/TPT-2021, dated July 18, 2026.

The company confirmed that there is no financial loss related to this regulatory development.

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Ltd, formerly known as Amara Raja Batteries Limited, has addressed the status of its operations following the revocation of these orders.
