Hyderabad/Tirupati, May 25, 2026: Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (ARE&M), a comprehensive solutions provider in the Energy & Mobility space, announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2025-26. The company reported a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs. 1,307 Cr for FY26.

The company posted total revenue for FY26 at Rs. 13,549 Cr, representing a significant increase from Rs. 12,405 Cr recorded during FY25. Furthermore, the Earnings per Share (EPS) for FY26 stood at Rs. 53.02. For the fourth quarter (Q4) of FY26, ARE&M reported a revenue of Rs. 3,460 Cr and a PBT of Rs. 433 Cr.

The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of ₹ 5.2 per share.

During the last financial year, while the Lead Acid Battery business faced margin impact due to raw material price volatility, ARE&M strengthened its growth trajectory. The new energy business, in particular, recorded an impressive 60% increase in revenue over the previous year.

Strategic Growth and Market Leadership​

Speaking on the results, Mr. Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive Director - Automotive and Industrial, highlighted the robust performance of the automotive sector in FY26, driven by OEM growth exceeding 20% and stable aftermarket momentum. He noted that the home energy business posted especially strong growth, alongside steady expansion in lithium solutions for the telecom segment. Mr. Gourineni stated that the company remains focused on enhancing its market position in the low-voltage battery segment through innovation and new product introductions.

Mr. Vikramadithya Gourineni, Executive Director - New Energy Business, provided an update on the company's advanced infrastructure. He confirmed that the R&D center and qualification plant for the Giga Corridor are currently under commissioning and expected to be operational next month. This facility will accelerate research and engineering efforts as the company begins supplying commercial samples ahead of its first gigafactory. Furthermore, the construction of a Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) plant is accelerating, with the initial 2 GWh of cell manufacturing remaining on track for June 2027.

Jayadev Galla, Chairman and Managing Director, stated that Amara Raja's consistent performance is underpinned by its leadership in the lead-acid battery business and the increasing momentum of new energy initiatives. He emphasized that the focus on strategic diversification into new products and chemistries positions the company strongly for the future, aiming to emerge as the country's leading cell-to-grid player.
