Akme Fintrade Launches Green Finance Platform AKME GreenX to Bolster EV and Renewable Energy Financing

Akme Fintrade (India) Limited, an RBI-regulated NonBanking Financial Company (NBFC), has partnered with Finayo to introduce AKME GreenX - Powered by Finayo. This dedicated Green Finance platform is designed to support the financing needs of the Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy sectors across India.

The partnership leverages Akme Fintrade's established lending expertise alongside Finayo's AI-powered digital lending platform. The combination aims to deliver faster, technologically advanced financing solutions tailored for sustainable industries.

AKME GreenX is set to expand access to Green Finance, actively supporting the growing adoption of Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy throughout India.

The initiative has specific financial goals mapped across two timelines. Over the next two years, the platform aims to build a ₹200 Crore Green Asset Portfolio. This target is divided equally between EV Financing, which accounts for ₹100 Crore, and Solar & Distributed Renewable Energy Financing, also targeting ₹100 Crore.

Looking ahead over five years, both partners have set an ambitious goal to expand the portfolio size significantly, aiming to build a total of ₹1,000 Crore dedicated to EV and Solar Financing.
