Wipro Launches AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit to Drive Growth​

BENGALURU, India – April 1, 2026 – Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO), a leading AI-powered technology services and consulting company, announced the launch of a dedicated AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit. The move aims to complement the company’s services business and position it at the forefront of innovation.

The new unit will focus on accelerating the development of enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions and enhancing outcome-based value creation. It will also incubate new AI-led business streams through an invest-build-partner approach, working alongside Wipro Ventures and its partner ecosystem.

The unit will leverage platforms including NetOxygen (AI-powered lending), CROAMIS (integrated aviation cargo operations), IHS and HPS (healthcare platforms), Enterprise Telco AI, and delivery platforms such as WINGS and WEGA.

Srini Pallia, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Wipro Limited, stated that the strategic pivot will enable the company to build and scale AI-led platforms at an unprecedented speed and unlock new growth opportunities.

Nagendra Bandaru has been appointed as the CEO of the new business unit, effective immediately. He will continue to report to Srini Pallia. Kanwar Singh joins Wipro as the new President and Managing Partner of Technology Services GBL, reporting to Srini Pallia.

Wipro’s strategic pivot with the AI-Native Business & Platforms Unit is intended to drive scalable growth and stronger Consulting-led, AI-driven client outcomes.
