VA TECH WABAG LIMITED, a leading Indian Multinational Technology Group in the water sector, announced strong financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported that its order book reached an all-time high of approximately Rs. 194 billion (excluding framework contracts).

The company saw significant growth across both consolidated and standalone figures. Consolidated Revenue from operations stood at Rs. 8,868 million, marking a 21% increase year over year (YoY). Consolidated EBITDA was reported at Rs. 1,163 million, up 22% YoY. Net Profit After Tax (PAT) for the consolidated entity reached Rs. 901 million, representing a 37% increase YoY.

Standalone performance also demonstrated strong growth. Standalone Revenue from operations grew by 15% YoY to Rs. 7,393 million. Standalone EBITDA was recorded at Rs. 1,050 million, up 22% YoY, while standalone PAT increased by 30% YoY to Rs. 793 million.

Cash Position and Order Momentum​

The company's cash position remained robust, extending its streak of positive net cash flow to the 14th consecutive quarter. Gross Cash Position was reported at Rs. 10,823 million, while Net Cash Position (excluding HAM) stood at Rs. 9,649 million.

Regarding future visibility, the order intake for the company in the quarter amounted to Rs. 34 billion, solidifying a strong pipeline of business opportunities.

Management Commentary​

Mr. Rajiv Mittal, Chairman and Managing Director of VA TECH WABAG LIMITED, commented on the results, stating, "We are delighted to start the year with strong international and domestic orders, robust top-line momentum, and strong profitability."

He noted that all operational clusters contributed to the surge in the order book to approximately INR 19,400 crores, even while maintaining a selective approach in bidding for projects. Mr. Mittal highlighted various project wins, including a 'Mega' SWRO project in Kuwait and an order win in Ajman in the UAE market. In India, the company secured new orders by enhancing relationships with BWSSB and DJB. Furthermore, a key project was won in Austria from Donauinsel Water Works in Europe.

The Chairman added that these wins provide strong revenue visibility, reflecting the focus on complex technology jobs within the company’s expertise area.

In another statement, the leadership team noted that the profitable growth continued, extending the positive net cash position streak to 14 consecutive quarters and reaching INR 965 crores. The company emphasized its commitment to enhancing value for stakeholders and maintaining execution discipline as margins remain in line with medium-term targets, indicating significant growth opportunities ahead.

WABAG Stock Price Movement​

On Wednesday, shares of VA Tech Wabag Limited slipped by 2.62%, closing at ₹1903.60 after shedding ₹51.10 from its previous close. The equity traded heavily during the day, with over 821,901 shares exchanged and a low set at ₹1875.
