A CBP investigation was conducted against Waaree Energies Limited and its subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas Inc., concerning exports to the United States of America for goods manufactured in India. The company received a notice of determination of evasion, where CBP affirmed the Company's position regarding not using Chinese steel in exported goods. However, CBP highlighted certain periods that require further review under Anti-Circumvention Orders, and the Company is currently responding to the CBP Notice.

Following a verdict by the Supreme Court of the U.S., challenging reciprocal duties levied on exporters as unlawful and based on refund claims accepted by CBP, the Group recognized income in relation to these refunds or reciprocal duties leveled under IEEPA tariffs or ₹282.30 crores (net of amount due to customer) as other operating revenue, alongside a reduction from cost of asset and inventory totaling ₹25.13 crores.
