VST Tillers Tractors Appoints Mrs. Shuba Kumar as Additional and Independent Director​

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd has appointed Mrs. Shuba Kumar as an Additional and Independent Director of the company. The decision was made by the Board of Directors, following a circular resolution passed on July 23, 2026, and is subject to shareholder approval.

Mrs. Kumar will hold the position for a term of five consecutive years, effective from July 27, 2026. This appointment follows a recommendation from the company’s Nomination, Compensation and Remuneration Committee.

The addition of Mrs. Shuba Kumar strengthens VST Tillers Tractors Ltd's board composition. She brings extensive experience in operations, quality management, mergers and acquisitions, and international business across the automotive, aerospace, and semiconductor sectors, with over 28 years of leadership experience.

Mrs. Kumar holds a B.Tech from IIT Madras, an MS from MIT, and an MBA from Stanford University. Her professional background includes significant senior leadership roles at Applied Materials, USA, where she created over US$1 billion in new markets and drove operational excellence through Six Sigma.

Currently, Mrs. Shuba Kumar serves as the Managing Director of Natesan Synchrocones Pvt. Ltd. In this role, she led the establishment of a DSIR-recognized R&D centre, spearheaded the company's expansion into aerospace, and managed the formation of Kyowa Natesan Synchro Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an Indo-Japanese joint venture. She also currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of India Motor Parts & Accessories Limited (IMPAL).

The appointment confirms that Mrs. Shuba Kumar is not related to any current director of VST Tillers Tractors Ltd.
