Vidya Wires Limited, a manufacturer of super enameled copper wires and strips, has approved a further investment into its wholly-owned subsidiary, M/s. ALCU Industries Private Limited (AIPL). The investment involves subscribing to preference shares in AIPL.

The Company committed INR 125,00,00,000/- (Rupees One Twenty-Five Crore Only) through the subscription of 1,25,00,000 Non-Convertible Redeemable Preference Shares of INR 100/- each in AIPL.

AIPL operates within the manufacturing of winding and conductivity products. The company specializes in processing and dealing in aluminium and copper products, which includes wires, tubes, rods, foils, plates, coils, circles, and related components. It also deals with ancillary items such as furniture, tools, equipment, and packing materials through manufacturing, trading, import/export, or distribution.

Regarding the subsidiary’s financial standing, AIPL's turnover for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, was reported at 124.432 (Rs. In Millions). ALCU Industries Private Limited was incorporated on May 24, 2022, in India.

The investment reinforces that AIPL remains a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vidya Wires Limited. The transaction is categorized as a related party transaction and is conducted at arm's length. Consequently, the company’s shareholding percentage in AIPL will remain unchanged by this investment.
