Veranda RACE and Dr. Rajkumar Academy Partner to Boost Civil Services Coaching in Karnataka​

Veranda RACE, an entity within Veranda Learning Solutions Limited, has formally partnered with Dr. Rajkumar Academy for Civil Services (DRACS) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The strategic integration aims to strengthen civil services coaching across Karnataka by combining the academic expertise and technology ecosystem of both organizations.

The partnership agreement encompasses brand stewardship, government and institutional collaborations, as well as the continuation of DRACS' social impact initiatives under the Veranda RACE umbrella. For nine years, Dr. Rajkumar Academy has served as a recognized institution for training aspirants preparing for UPSC, KAS, KPSC, and various other State Public Service Commission examinations from its center in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru.

DRACS, named after the late Dr. Rajkumar, who was recipient of the Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Award, has established a strong reputation among both civil services candidates and the broader community. Veranda RACE is contributing its academic knowledge and operational scale to this collaboration. The alliance will also continue DRACS' existing institutional partnerships, which include work with departments of the Government of Karnataka, UNDP, UNICEF, and several non-governmental organizations.

Members of the Dr. Rajkumar family will function as Official Goodwill Ambassadors during the partnership. Furthermore, key community initiatives such as the Prithvi Scholarship Test and the 'Be a Scribe' programme will continue, acknowledging the foundational role of the family in their creation and nurturing.

Santhosh Kumar, CEO of Veranda RACE, stated that Karnataka is a pivotal center for civil services preparation across India. He added that by uniting DRACS' local credibility with Veranda RACE’s academic and technology capabilities, the partnership seeks to broaden access to high-quality coaching and achieve better outcomes for aspirants statewide.

Yuva Rajkumar, Founder of DRACS, shared his perspective on the integration, noting that DRACS represents an enduring commitment to public service and education—values deeply held by Dr. Rajkumar. He confirmed that finding Veranda RACE as a partner was essential to scale the institution's purpose while preserving the foundational ideals established by DRACS for future generations of students.
