Vedanta Limited reported an unfortunate industrial incident that occurred on April 14, 2026, at its Athena Power plant located in Singhita rai, Chhattisgarh. The accident took place at the Unit-1 boiler and involved personnel from the company's sub-contractor, NGSL.As of the time of the report, the incident affected 24 workmen from the sub-contractor. Tragically, 10 of the affected personnel succumbed to their injuries.
