Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited has secured a long-term supply agreement with FACC Operations GmbH, Austria, to manufacture and supply precision-engineered aerospace components and flying parts. The deal follows a rigorous competitive global sourcing process and marks a significant step in Unimech's expansion into global aerospace production programs.

The partnership between the Bengaluru-based company and the leading aerospace supplier, FACC, was established after an extensive engagement that involved technical evaluations, capability assessments, quality reviews, commercial negotiations, and deep discussions. The award reflects Unimech’s demonstrated engineering expertise, strong manufacturing capabilities, quality systems, and ability to meet the stringent requirements of global aerospace customers.

Unimech aims to leverage this agreement to expand its Precision Components & Parts business by increasing participation in long-term aerospace production programs, thereby solidifying its position within the global supply chain.

Qualification and Industrialisation Phase​

As part of the program onboarding process, Unimech will now enter a qualification and industrialisation phase across the upcoming quarters. This phase includes necessary steps such as first article approvals, process validations, and production readiness activities before transitioning into serial production with FACC.

Anil Kumar Puttan, Chairman & Managing Director of Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Limited, stated that the agreement underscores the confidence placed in the company's engineering, manufacturing, quality, and delivery capabilities by global aerospace customers.
