Bengaluru: TVS Motor Company Limited, a leader in the two-and three-wheeler segments, has announced that its globally trusted commuter motorcycle brand, the TVS HLX series, has surpassed the significant milestone of five million global sales. The achievement underscores the brand's strong acceptance and market position across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

The TVS HLX series was first introduced in 2013 and holds distinction as one of the first Africa-focused products launched from India. This range leader includes models ranging from 100cc to 150cc, playing a vital role in supporting last-mile connectivity across rural and semi-urban regions globally.

The brand has been instrumental in providing reliable mobility solutions to millions of customers over more than a decade, serving as a mobility partner particularly in Africa and supporting the livelihoods of countless individuals through daily taxi operations.

Commenting on the accomplishment, K N Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO of TVS Motor Company, stated that reaching 5 million sales is a substantial achievement. He noted that for 13 years, the TVS HLX series has earned trust in international markets due to its durability, reliability, and low maintenance costs. Radhakrishnan emphasized that the milestone reflects customer confidence and commitment toward improving community mobility and livelihoods.

The product portfolio has expanded and includes six key models: TVS HLX Plus, TVS HLX 125, TVS HLX 125 5 Gear, TVS HLX 150, TVS HLX 150 X, and TVS HLX 150 F.
