Tulsyan NEC Limited has announced the divestment of its entire shareholding in its subsidiary, Sapient Packing Private Limited (SPPL). The Board of Directors approved the transfer of the company's 99.80% stake in SPPL through a circular resolution passed on July 16, 2026.Following this transaction, Sapient Packing Private Limited ceased to be a subsidiary of Tulsyan NEC Limited effective July 16, 2026.
The divestment involved the sale of 9,980 equity shares, each with a face value of Rs.10/-. The transaction was executed on an arm's length basis and is classified as a related party transaction. The buyer of the entity is Mrs. Alka Tulsyan, who is a member of the Promoter Group and the spouse of Mr. Lalit Kumar Tulsyan, the Executive Chairman of the Company.
