  • Watches: The Watches portfolio grew 21% to 1,543 crores, driven by the continuing trend of premiumization and consumer preference for analog timepieces.
  • EyeCare: This segment recorded a strong growth of 21%, achieving a revenue base of 289 crores, fueled by demand across its product range and a shift toward premium offerings.

The international business also proved highly successful, with Tanishq recording strong traction in North America and encouraging double-digit growth observed in the GCC region.

Titan showcased significant operational achievements and brand innovation during the quarter:

  • Jewellery Innovation: Tanishq strengthened its offerings with the launch of ‘Hues,’ a design-led collection featuring 100% natural coloured gemstones such as emeralds, amethysts, and tanzanites set in 18kt gold.
  • Watchmaking Excellence: At an exclusive showcase of 'Watches & Wonders,' Titan unveiled new creations including the Nebula Genesis ‘Starburst,’ a diamond-set timepiece inspired by stellar birth, and Zero Hour, Titan’s debut professional diver's collection built on the in-house 7 ACO calibre. Furthermore, the Edge Ultraslim Mechanical and the Titan Wandering Meteor were GPHG entries, underscoring advancements in Indian horology.
  • Store Expansion: The Jewellery division added a net of 33 stores in India, encompassing openings across Tanishq (4), Mia (17), beYon (1), and Caratlane (11). In the international segment, Tanishq opened two new stores in the GCC region.

The Emerging Businesses portfolio, which includes SKINN Fragrances, IRTH Women's Bags, and Indian Dress Wear (Taneira), achieved a combined income of 28 crores for Q1FY27, representing an 18% growth, though the division recorded a loss of approximately 39 crores.

Titan Engineering & Automation Limited (TEAL) also performed strongly, reporting a Total Income of 438 crores and achieving an EBIT of around 143 crores, marking a 43% increase compared to Q1FY26.

Management Commentary​

Ajoy Chawla, Managing Director of the Company, commented on the quarterly results, stating that Q1FY27 marked a strong opening period for the company, driven by a 40% year-on-year growth in Consumer Businesses.
