THDC India Limited has declared the commercial operation of an 11 MWac floating solar plant situated on the raw water reservoir of the Khurja STPP. The facility officially commenced commercial operations on July 17, 2026, following successful commissioning and the receipt of necessary approvals.With the integration of this floating solar project, the total installed and commercial capacity of THDC India Limited has reached 3,918 MW.
The addition of this solar capacity contributes to the broader portfolio of the NTPC group. The combined operational scale for the group now reflects the following capacities:
