Tata Chemicals’ Mithapur Facility Reaches 1 Million Tonnes Soda Ash Production Milestone in FY 2025-26
Mithapur, Gujarat, March 30, 2026 – Tata Chemicals Limited announced today that its Mithapur facility in Gujarat achieved a production milestone of 1 million tonnes of soda ash in fiscal year 2025-26.The achievement reflects the collaborative efforts across various teams including operations, maintenance, utilities, logistics, procurement, quality, safety, and marketing & sales.
To commemorate the milestone, employees at the Mithapur site gathered for a ceremony featuring senior leadership inaugurating a commemorative plaque and unveiling a miniature of the one-millionth tonne bag of soda ash.
Rino Raj, Vice President and Site Head -Mithapur, Tata Chemicals Limited, stated that reaching the 1 million tonne milestone is a result of operational rigor and commitment. He emphasized the contributions of the Mithapur team to plant efficiency, reliability, and safety.
