Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL), a petrochemical manufacturing company based in Chennai, announced its first quarter results for Fiscal Year 2026-27 on August 11, 2026. The company reported significant growth in profitability, with both PBT and operating profit doubling compared to the corresponding period last year.

The strong performance was driven by increased demand coupled with effective cost management across operations. Revenue for the quarter saw an increase of approximately 68% over Q1 FY26. EBITDA and PBT recorded sharp rises of 138% and 129%, respectively, leading to a higher operating profit for the period.

The company noted that the figures from the current quarter are not directly comparable with Q4 FY26 due to a planned shutdown undertaken during the previous fiscal year for an ongoing expansion project.
