Systematix Corporate Services Ltd. successfully appointed veteran Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, Mr. Vijaykumar Gautam, as a Non-Executive Independent Director. The appointment was approved by the company’s members during the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on April 17, 2026.

The appointment marks Mr. Gautam's transition in designation to Non-Executive Independent Director. The board approved his tenure for a period of five years, effective from January 21, 2026, through January 20, 2031.

Mr. Vijaykumar Gautam, holding DIN 07358773, brings a wealth of experience from both state and central government roles. He is an IAS officer belonging to the 1987 batch of the Maharashtra cadre and previously served as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra.

Mr. Gautam’s educational background is robust, including a distinction degree in Physics (Honours) from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Delhi, and a Master's degree in Economics from Pune. Furthermore, he has augmented his expertise with advanced certificates from the London School of Economics in Public Administration, Oxford Business School in Blockchain Strategy, and Harvard Business School in Finance.

During his distinguished career, he held key field and secretariat positions across the Government of Maharashtra. His roles included Assistant Collector, Chief Executive Officer of Amaravati and Ratnagiri, and Collector and District Magistrate in locations such as Nashik, Sindhudurg, Mumbai, and Pune. He also served as Director, Information Technology, and held principal secretary roles covering Skill Development, Information Technology, Finance, and Tourism & Cultural Affairs, culminating in his tenure as Additional Chief Secretary, Water Resources.

At the national level, Mr. Gautam has contributed to the Ministries of Finance, Power, and Sports of the Government of India. His operational expertise covers land revenue administration, law and order, disaster management, conduct of elections, and rural development, alongside specialized knowledge in information technology, finance, and water resources. He played a crucial role in pioneering India's first e-Government-to-Citizen (e-G2C) platform, facilitating the establishment of the Hinjewadi IT Park, and contributing to policy planning for fintech hubs and smart city projects in Maharashtra. His central tenure included working on banking and insurance matters in the Ministry of Finance and driving energy sector reforms, such as the Electricity Act, 2003.

In terms of corporate governance, Mr. Gautam confirmed that he is not related to any current Directors, Manager, or Key Managerial Personnel of the company, and he is not debarred from holding the office of director by any authority.
