Shri Ashutosh Gautam brings over 33 years of service in multi-disciplinary infrastructure wings, covering areas such as highways, ports, inland water transport, and urban development.His distinguished professional background includes prior roles as Member (Technical) cum Deputy Project Director, Jal Marg Vikas Project (JMVP), while on deputation to NHAI/MORTH. He also held the additional charge of Member (Traffic & Logistics) at the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI), MoPSW, GoI.
Mr. Gautam is an accomplished academic with a Gold medal for B.Tech (Civil) and a Silver medal for M.Tech from IITD.
Throughout his career, he has served as the Managing Director for Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway Ltd (SPV) and Kolaghat Haldia Highways Ltd. (SPV). He has also been nominated as a Director in various SPVs formed with the Government of Odisha (IWCOL) and MoRTH (Varanasi MMLPLtd) on behalf of IWAI/MoPSW.
Furthermore, he possesses substantial experience working with international bodies, serving as General Manager Commercial Operations & Logistics and Project Directors/nodal officer for World Bank road projects stationed at Kanpur and Lucknow, covering the Golden Quadrilateral and NSEW in Uttar Pradesh. For approximately 12 years, he served as the nodal officer of UP for world bank road projects.
He continues to contribute to the field by serving as an honorary visiting faculty to various institutions including IITs, IIMs, LBSNAA, and IAHE NITs, specializing in large/highways contract administration and FIDIC contracts. He was also part of the team that prepared Vision 2047 representing IWAI/MoPSW.
