Suryoday Small Finance Bank saw a strong surge, advancing 9% after reporting exceptional Q1 results. The bank's profit more than doubled, achieving ₹75.2 crore in the first quarter. This remarkable growth was underpinned by a solid 27.8% increase in net interest income, which stood at ₹315.7 crore.

Fast-Moving Consumer Goods and Specialized Gains​


Sona BLW Precision Forgings gained 2% after successfully reporting its Q1 performance. The company witnessed a massive 46.7% jump in profit, reaching ₹178.5 crore. Complementing this success, the firm also saw its revenue surge by 52.4%, climbing to ₹1,301.2 crore.

Aviation Sector Faces Profit Pressure Amid Revenue Growth​


InterGlobe Aviation shares fell 2.5% after posting a Q1 loss of ₹238 crore. This result marks a sharp contrast compared to the profit of ₹2,176.3 crore reported a year prior. Despite this margin pressure, the airline managed to grow its revenue by 19.9%, reaching ₹24,584.1 crore for the quarter.

Tech and E-commerce Stocks See Mixed Reactions​


Infosys shares declined 1.3% even as the IT major reported a healthy 14% year-on-year rise in revenue to ₹48,211 crore. The company also saw its Q1 net profit rise by 12.2%, totaling ₹7,769 crore.

Meanwhile, Meesho stock fell nearly 5%. This decline occurred despite the e-commerce firm narrowing its Q1 loss significantly. The loss narrowed to ₹132.8 crore from a previous loss of ₹289.3 crore. Meesho's revenue, however, demonstrated robust growth, jumping 48.3% to ₹3,712.8 crore.

Industrial and Cement Sector Results​


Cyient stock advanced 4% while reporting a challenging Q1 result. The company saw its revenue rise by 21.3% to ₹2,075.7 crore, yet Q1 profit dropped 32.3%, settling at ₹104.1 crore.

Orient Cement slipped 2.5% as the company reported a significant drop in profitability. Orient's Q1 profit plunged by 62.4%, landing at ₹77 crore. This decline came alongside a 30.3% reduction in revenue, which stood at ₹604 crore for the quarter.
