Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd has announced transitions in its senior management team, including two retirements and a new appointment for the role of Functional Head - Human Resources & Administration.Ms. Shanta Gupta, who served as a member of the Senior Management Team and held the position of Functional Head - Human Resources & Administration, will be retiring from the company with effect from June 30, 2026. Similarly, Dr. Nitin Dharmadhikari, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and a senior management team member, is also set to retire from the services of the Company effective June 30, 2026.
The company has announced the appointment of Mr. Prasanna Deshmukh as the new Functional Head - Human Resources & Administration. Mr. Deshmukh will assume this role and be designated as Senior Management Personnel starting July 01, 2026.
Mr. Deshmukh brings a background that includes a Master's in HRM&LR from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Prior to joining Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company (SPARC), he was an HR Business Partner - Global Quality and Compliance at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (SPIL), where he has been since May 2023. His previous experience includes association with Marico Ltd. and Crompton Ltd.
